Michael Williams

Michael was the lead architect and master planner for the award winning U.S. National Whitewater Center located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was directly responsible for the overall feel, program and design of the project, the world’s largest man-made re-circulating whitewater park that opened in 2006. Michael has since worked with S2O on several whitewater parks and as a planner and architect he helps ensure that both the building architecture functions to its specific & unique user group and that entire project is efficiently & dynamically planned. Michael’s dedicated and experience focus on the dry-side of the project helps not only ensure that the S2O wet-side technical solution is world class but that the entire S2O design solution / project delivery is world class.
